Beds, table legs and mirrors off dressers are part of a normal move. Tell us up front about anything unusual — a wall-mounted TV, a Murphy bed, a shed — so it goes into the estimate rather than being discovered on the day.

Anything flammable, corrosive or pressurised: propane tanks, gas cans, paint, solvents, pool chemicals, ammunition. Drain the fuel from mowers and trimmers before move day. Plants and perishables travel better in your own car. For hauling, hazardous material needs a household hazardous waste site rather than a truck.
