What we pack
Packing is where most moves go wrong: half-full boxes, loose items in laundry baskets, and a kitchen still open at 9am on move day. We come the day before and hand you a house that is ready to load.
Every room boxed, labeled and stacked by the door, ready for the truck the next morning.
Glassware, plates, stemware and small appliances wrapped individually and double-boxed where it matters.
Corner-protected, cardboard-cased and marked so they never end up flat under something heavy.
Hanging clothes straight from the closet to the box to the new closet, still on their hangers.
Boxes, tape, paper, bubble wrap and mattress bags — billed separately, spares left with you.
Boxes opened, contents placed, cardboard flattened and hauled off rather than left in your garage.
What it costs
Packing is hourly, plus materials at cost. What moves the number:
Tell us those four things when you call or text and you get a firm number before we start — not a range designed to get us in your door. Booking ahead instead of same-week takes 10% off.

Questions about packing
Do you bring the boxes?
Yes, and we carry the usual sizes plus tape, paper and bubble wrap. Supplies are billed separately from labour, and we leave you the spares. You can also buy boxes from us on their own if you would rather pack yourself — we are a U-Haul dealer.
How long does packing a house take?
Roughly a day per one to two bedrooms with a small crew, and the kitchen alone is usually the longest single room in the house. We pack the day before the move rather than the morning of — trying to do both in one day is what makes move day run long.
Can you pack just the kitchen and the fragile things?
That is the most common version of this job. You handle the clothes, books and garage, we handle the glassware, plates, artwork, mirrors and lamps — the things that actually break. It is the cheapest way to buy peace of mind.
Do you unpack too?
Yes. Boxes opened, contents onto counters and shelves, and flattened cardboard hauled away rather than left in your garage for a month. Say up front if you want unpacking so we schedule the hours for it.
How do you label everything?
By destination room, not by contents — that is what tells the crew where to set a box down at the other end. Fragile boxes get marked on all four sides so they cannot end up on the bottom of a stack.
